NKJF Technical Assembly:
High-Gravity Instruction

Join the National Karate Jujutsu Federation on February 21 at the
Virginia Beach Karate Academy... A Legacy of Authentic Mastery.

Fundamental Principles

Technical Mastery: Beyond Choreography and Memorization.

Most martial arts workshops offer a curriculum built around a set number of kata and pre-arranged drills. These are valuable training tools—but on their own, they are insufficient. On February 21, the National Karate Jujutsu Federation addresses the missing link: fundamental principles.

Without a core understanding of biomechanics, a kata is little more than performance art. This assembly focuses on functional movement, skeletal leverage, and the kinetic logic required to bridge the gap between traditional form and high-pressure execution.

Led by the NKJF Senior Directorate:

  • Steven E. Johnson — Lead Instruction
  • JB Felton — Technical Application
  • Scott Sprouse — Movement Logic
  • David Colaizzi — Functional Mechanics

Hosted at the Virginia Beach Karate Academy, this assembly is a technical assembly for practitioners and instructors committed to professional refinement and authentic mastery. This is your opportunity to refine your movement alongside some of the region's most dedicated traditionalists.
